Modern Wrinkle Correction Procedures. What Are Your Options?

Wrinkles:

Aging, and wrinkles, happen to use all. And unless you're prepared to go to extreme lengths to undertake a wrinkle correction treatment, you might need to accept the fact that you will probably form wrinkles as you age. However there is also some good news for those seriously interested in wrinkle correction.

Lets look at the options for those wanting some form of wrinkle correction treatment.

1. Botox. You can always use botox for wrinkles, a relatively new wrinkle correction treatment. Here's some of the things that you need to think about if you want to use botox for wrinkles.

It's most likely to cost you a bomb, and that will probably be a recurring cost given that it's highly unlikely that a single botox treatment will keep wrinkles at bay for the rest of your life.

There are no long term studies on the effectiveness of botox injections for long periods of time. You have no idea how you will look in, say, 10 years.

There are health warnings issued about botox injections for wrinkles, and some maintain that the health warnings should be more stringent. There have been deaths linked to botox wrinkle correction procedures.

Many of those who have undertaken botox wrinkle correction injections, including some very high profile people, seem to look worse after the treatment than before.

2. Cosmetic surgery. You can always head off to your local surgery center and find a cosmetic surgeon who will perform a face lift for you. This can be effective, but at what cost?

Facial cosmetic surgery for wrinkle correction or any other cosmetic reason can be extremely expensive, and you need to consider that it's likely that you will need to undertake the surgery a number of times over your life, it is rarely a lifetime solution. Expect it to cost tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars over time.

And it hurts.

And, as has happened with botox wrinkle correction injections, the results for some can mean that they look worse than they did before they undertook the procedure.

3. A range of other facial wrinkle filler treatments and corrections that are relatively new. There are 2 now reported by the Medical College of Wisconsin, for example, involving facial fillers, or dermal fillers. Patients are injected with various chemicals. Small amounts of these chemicals are injected just under the skin and this helps fill out the wrinkles and make the face look smoother. These are often performed at a plastic surgery center by a cosmetic surgeon.

Usually around a third of the face is treated, that being around the eyes, the corners of the mouth, and jawline.

All the same comments apply to dermal fillers and facial filler treatments. At what cost? How often will it need to be done? Where are the studies showing the safety and effectiveness of these treatments long term? And what are the risks that you may look worse if something goes wrong?

So personally I wouldn't seriously consider any of these forms of wrinkle correction treatment, for those reasons. For me the risks outweigh the benefits.

Modern big brand name skin care and anti aging and anti wrinkle products don't work very well either. They can have very suspect, or even dangerous ingredients in them, and are relatively ineffective.

That's all the bad news for those interested in wrinkle correction. Now for the good news.

There are now some extremely effective natural skin care, anti aging and anti wrinkle products available. Modern science has found naturally occurring substances, from sources like plants, seaweed and the wool of sheep, that work extremely well. They will help in the fight against wrinkles.

They use ingredients which are known to be safe, and which are very effective. They are cost competitive with the big brand name products, mainly because the company that makes them doesn't spend up big on TV advertising. So they can spend more on research and they can use the best ingredients money can buy, whilst still selling their products at a reasonable price. With a no questions asked money back guarantee.

Even these products can't guarantee you will be wrinkle free though. Wrinkles are a part of life, and a part of aging. If you're looking for complete wrinkle correction then you will probably be doomed to failure, or you will have to be prepared for some serious expense, and risk, and pain.

Accept that aging involves some wrinkles, use the best natural skin care products and anti wrinkle products you can get and avoid the cost, and risks, of serious chemical and medical wrinkle correction procedures.
